Women’s Resource Center Extraordinary Woman Award Selection Process:
▪ The Extraordinary Woman Award selection committee is comprised of WRC board representatives, Women’s History Month committee and WRC staff.
▪ The committee will review all nominations and choose the top finalists.
▪ The WRC Board of Directors will select the winner(s) of the 2026 Extraordinary Woman Award.
▪ The 2026 Extraordinary Woman Award winners will be notified and honored at the awards dinner in March.
Nominate an Extraordinary Woman!
Each year, we ask the community to nominate women who exemplify the National Women’s History Month theme. For 2026, the theme is “Leading the change: Women shaping a sustainable future.” Please nominate a La Plata County woman who exemplifies this theme. We look forward to honoring her!
