The Medicine Horse Center

Offers equine-assisted therapies and learning sessions including a Teen Girls' Group (ages 14-17), Mother/Daughter Teen Group (ages 13-18), and Women's Empowerment Group. Sessions involve direct contact with horses and are conducted by a licensed mental health therapist and an equine-assisted growth and learning instructor. Fees are based on a sliding scale.

Starting Oct. 16, 2010, The Red Tent will offer a Pregnancy Support Group, a six-week series, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and a Postpartum Group, a six-week series, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Support from a trained counselor (and evolving mother) during this incredible time of transition is pricelss and eases the way toward vibrant, conscious mothering. You – and your baby – deserve this. Facilitated by Susan Engstrom of Solace Counseling. 

Cost: $12 per week or $72 for six-week series, sliding scale offered to those mamas on a budget.
