It was a sweep! Men Are Pigs won
both the Judges' Choice and People's Choice Awards

Sunnyside Beach Bums once
again wowed the crowd with juicy steaks and won first place
in the culinary competition.

The Elvis Lives (and Grills) Team proved that gourmet grilled
cheese was a winner.

Is it the beards? Deep South Grill Team wins once again
for best theme/costume.

The Wasabi Brothers' sense of style captured second place
for best theme/costume.

More than 250 people flocked
to the new downtown location of WRC's Men Who Grill fundraiser
on Saturday, June 4. Guests sampled grilled items from 11
teams that showed their culinary acumen and creativity! From
a whole roasted pig and flank steak to grilled veggies and
grilled cheese sandwiches, an impressive array of foods were
prepared by 34 amateur chefs. More than $4,200 was raised
for WRC programs and services. The Center thanks all who helped
to make the event a success! Special kudos to the Steamworks
team for figuring out how to bake a cake on the grill!
