Durango Community Education Department with Rocky Mountain Planned
Parenthood seeks all girls ages 14 to 18 to participate in its
"Dollar-A-Day" Program. The group meets from 4 to 5 p.m. every Tuesday
at the Durango Recreation Center to discuss topics related to
sexuality, healthy relationships, decision-making, communication and
body image. Participants also have access to adult role models and
participate in a community service project. The incentive program pays
participants $1 a day for every day that they remain pregnancy free.

Community Connections TAMBO Respite Program Community Connections’ Tambo Respite Program seeks volunteers to participate in a group respite time for children with special needs. Tambo meets one Saturday per month at the Mason Center in Durango, and the program needs volunteers to serve as “buddies” during a fun evening of recreation and socialization.
